Impressions Expo Long Beach is upon us from January 19-21, 2024, and we can't wait to see you! U.N.I.T.E. Together will be located in Booth 3925 in the arena near Ink Kitchen's Shop Talks stage and the Impressions Lounge. What do we have planned for this year's Expo besides providing resources and education on accessibility and inclusion in our industry and beyond? Read below for all the details!
Raffle
We'll be back at it again with a raffle, and this year's grand prize coincides with ROQ.US's annual IMPRESSions ROQFest! Purchase raffle tickets at the U.N.I.T.E. Together booth to win an autographed guitar from Eve 6! Runner-ups in the drawing will receive backstage passes to the event and other prizes, including YETI Coolers, prizes from ROQ and Ryonet, and more! Winner will be announced at ROQFest Saturday night. Make sure you register for ROQFest for free here.
5k Fun Run/Walk
It's not all about the afterparties! U.N.I.T.E. Together is hosting a 5k Run/Walk on Saturday, January 20th, before the Impressions Expo at Alamitos Beach in Long Beach, California to raise funds to sponsor student trips to SkillsUSA state and national-level competitions.
SkillsUSA is a US career and technical student organization serving more than 395,000 high school, college, and middle school students and professional members enrolled in training programs in trade, technical, and skilled service occupations, including those in the print industry.
There is no cost to participate, but donations are appreciated!
If you're a business and would like to sponsor a team member of yours (or 2!) for $100, it would greatly support the U.N.I.T.E. Together cause. Simply donate at registration!
All fitness levels are welcome and encouraged. This event is limited to 75 participants, so secure your spot today! Please donate what you wish at registration or via unitetogether.us.
The course is easy to follow and will consist of an out-and-back loop on the beach path that will be marked. This is an open course. Please be courteous to other pedestrians, runners, and cyclists on the beach path.
Parking
Alamitos Beach Lot off of 380 E Shoreline Dr, Long Beach, CA, 90802
There is one parking machine in the Alamitos lot, Zone 9377. Follow the instructions on the machine to pay by credit card, or you can download the Passport Parking App.
Additional parking is in the adjacent lot off of E Shoreline Drive and Linden Ave. This is Zone 9378. Free street parking is off of E Ocean Blvd and is a 10-15 minute walk to the race start. There are stairs that go down to the beach path.
The restrooms are located next to Gauchos Empanadas restaurant.
